Moderate to heavy beer consumption is typically associated with areas with many students, some professionals, and some families and elderly in deprived areas. Remarkably Just Moving In has 3.5 times the national average of moderate or heavy beer consumption.
This Type is scattered across the northern half of Southwark in new privately built in-fill housing. City Adventurers is another large and affluent group in Southwark. The largest of the most deprived Types is Dignified Dependency with some 2,000 households in Southwark. Settled Minorities is another large group with nearly 9,000 households.
